Casting Call
While we were driving home late last night, Mrs. Otis and I were tired and started talking about random stuff just to keep each other awake. Anyway, when we get tired we get silly. So for some reason we started a conversation about the seventies show Land Of The Lost. We thought it would be great if they made a new movie about the show so we spent the next twenty minutes casting the show.
Of course we wanted Will Farrell to play the lead as Marchall, hoping to make the movie as funny and campy as possible.
We thought we had a great original idea. But low and behold I found this link that says that Will Farrell has already been cast to play the lead in the Land Of The Lost movie. Darn.
But we decided to go ahead and post our casting anyway.

Will Farrell as Marshall.

Jaimie Lynn Spears as Holly.

Tom Welling as Will.

Phil Spector as the Sleestacks.

Rosie Odonnell as the T-Rex.

Sanjaya as Chaka.
Well there you have it. Our version of Land Of The Lost. Feel free to add your castings as well.

They are in the development stages of this, and Will Ferrell is supposed to be in it. That's according to HSX where I have had stock in it for some while. Who knows if it will ever be made, though.
HAHAHA... Sanjaya and Rosie!!! Classic!!!
Phil S is brilliant casting but I don't know why you want a forthright, left-leaning, remarkably heroic lesbian as a dinosaur.....
Sanjaya as Chaka has me in tears, LOL.
To this day there hasn't been a movie or TV monster that scared me as badly as the Sleestacks did when I was a kid. Their very name is scary. Oh, the times I'd be watching Land of the Lost, in the floor in front of the TV, and then jump and scramble to the couch as soon as those big-eyed bastards showed up. I'm sure that if I saw Land of the Lost today I'd react in the EXACT SAME WAY.
